Curator narration for this scene.
At Locmariaquer, on the shore of the Gulf of Morbihan, three great Neolithic monuments stand within metres of each other. The Grand Menhir, a single granite stone some twenty metres long and weighing over 280 tonnes, now lies broken in four pieces where it fell. Beside it stands the Table des Marchands, a passage tomb under its cairn, its carved stones partly reused from an earlier standing stone.
Every Jason D’s Vision image is an AI-generated artistic interpretation of a real place — original artwork, not a photograph. The label bar on the download may show a creative daylight scenario; that is artistic staging, not a record of a real event.
