About this artwork
La Couvertoirade closes itself inside a complete circuit of fifteenth-century ramparts on the Larzac plateau, a small dense settlement of stone houses entered through its fortified gates. The wall, some 420 metres around, is pierced with arrow slits and carried a wall walk above the lanes. Inside, the Templar castle stands on its rocky spur above houses roofed in stone and tile.
Every Jason D’s Vision image is an AI-generated artistic interpretation of a real place — original artwork, not a photograph. The label bar on the download may show a creative daylight scenario; that is artistic staging, not a record of a real event.
